The SuperHub Story
They wanted to be able to explore and use the major, frequently visited websites but kept getting “lost” when going onto the Web through modern portals. And, of course, they “preferred” to do all this with as little typing as possible (I’m understating that requirement quite a bit…). The result is what you have here at the SuperHub. Simple and straightforward it will remind some of the early days of the World Wide Web circa 1995. This is when I joined the fray. Things were simpler back then. Remember how Yahoo looked when it first began? I sure do. And that’s the sort of thinking I employed for my folks. Since I put the SuperHub out there I’ve been hearing more and more younger people (especially business types and homemakers) have adopted it as their homepage since it’s so fast to use and the basic set of links (which is evolving of course) make sense for most users. That’s gratifying, of course. But in my mind’s eye I still see two old (and savvy)gals flying across the Web with their ”mouse things” blazing. The vision brings a smile to my face every time. I hope you find the SuperHub as useful as they do. Best regards,
